What’s The Best Way To Build My MLM Business?

Should I Lead With The Product Or Opportunity To Build My MLM Business?

This is probably the biggest question most newbies have about building an MLM business. The answer is…it depends.

In network marketing we get paid for only two things, recruiting business builders and getting customers. That’s it. The problem that a lot of people have is that they concentrate on one or the other. Just like a good peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, you have to have a mix of both. When all things are said and done, it doesn’t matter what you think is right for your prospect. You need to find out what they want. There’s no point in talking about your business opportunity if they have no desire to be in a business in the first place, especially if they love your product.

How Not To Build A McDonald’s MLM Business

build mlmLet’s pretend for a second that McDonald’s was an MLM company and you went to one because you just wanted to get a Big Mac, but at the register they were asking if you wanted to build your very own McDonald’s MLM business because it’s the best thing and everyone wants their product.

How would you feel?

McDonald’s has a proven track record, great business model (extremely duplicatable system), very profitable (great compensation plan even if their burgers aren’t the best…in my opinion), and their EVERYWHERE!!

What do you mean you just wanted a Big Mac?!?! Don’t you know that you can make a lot of money?? Wait wait…where are you going? What do you mean you have to think about it? Aren’t you hungry?

OK back to reality. Just like this scenario, when building your MLM business you must always ask yourself “what solution can I provide my prospect?” Sometimes you can’t offer anything because your product or service doesn’t apply to your prospect’s needs. You’re not going to have much success selling facial creams to football players…well not most of them LOL.

Sometimes your prospect is just going to be a customer. That’s fine if it works for them. The way I look at it, a loyal customer who buys on autoship is better than no customer (check your bank account if you don’t believe me).

Very few people will be open to looking into starting their own business. Every now and then, you will find someone who is trying to make ends meet and looking for a way out. This would be the type of person you might want to talk about your business opportunity to.

Gradually over time if you get in front of enough people, you will be able to find the customers and the business builders to help build the thriving MLM business that you originally had planned for when you joined.

Go here if you need more people to talk to so you can build your MLM business faster.

Facial Cream to Football Players … that’s good but it is also true. Trying to shove the burger down your prospects throat won’t work especially if they are not hungry or interested in your burger.

Thanks for taking the time to share this McDonald’s MLM Experience.
